Intro to Long-Term Planning

Over the last couple years, Visalia Unified has been on a journey to ensure every student is learning everyday. Through community input, we made some critical boundary adjustments, building, and ensuring balance enrollment across our schools, Visalia is on the way to not just provide the same high-level learning experience for students at every school, but also ensure that our campuses attract talent and elevate our neighborhoods and community.

We are now at the mid-way point to long-term planning. This midway point assesses the needs of the school district that continue boundary discussions along with building on existing campuses to ensure our students are set for the next 6-10 years. In this midway point, we are making a recommendation that is necessary for Visalia Unified students and the community. We look forward to seeing you in the coming weeks as we go into the community to speak to you about these necessary changes.
